Beyond Bodies
Exhibition design for a fashion exhibition at the National Museum of Norway — 3D modeling and renders of the display setup.
Beyond Bodies. Four Nordic Fashion Experiments was a fashion exhibition at the National Museum of Norway, curated by Hanne Eide and Ane Lynge-Jorlén in collaboration with ALPHA, a Nordic platform for emerging fashion designers. The exhibition showed the work of four Nordic fashion designers — Jennie Steen, Miriam Scheller, Ruusa Vuori and Tilde Herold — working at the intersection of fashion, craft and art.
I contributed to designing and building the exhibition's physical setup, working with Vésma Kontere McQuillan (architect and professor at Kristiania University of Applied Sciences, who designed the exhibition's spatial concept). I modeled all the sculptural body-forms at full 1:1 scale, then brought them into ArchiCAD to build up the scaffolding and the space around them — so we'd know exactly where each piece needed to go before construction. Renders of the full setup came out of that same model.
The exhibition ran from 9 November 2024 to 23 March 2025.
